The last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day is worrying about making sure suppliers and guest are in the right place at the right time, that’s where I come in!
I will be your on-the-day sidekick making sure everything runs to schedule and looking after you at every turn. Even if that is squeezing you, and your dress into a Defender!
Your On-the-Day Wedding Coordinator will manage the overall running of your wedding day. Including things like:
Seeing your suppliers in
Overseeing suppliers setting up
Keeping your wedding running on time
Ushering guests
Reminding your bridesmaids/ushers to do their jobs
Answering your guests’ questions
Following your to-do list
Solving any problems
Making sure that your glass is always topped up!
Pre Wedding Scheduling Meeting
Between eight to three weeks before your wedding day, we will have our Scheduling Meeting. This is where we will discuss your wedding day in fine detail and create your Order of the Day together. We will also talk through all your suppliers and the services they are providing.
Site Visits
I hate surprises (don’t we all?), so I make a point of visiting your venue in advance of the wedding day, location dependent. This can be done independently or alongside you during a scheduled visit, if availability allows.
If you have access to the venue the day before to set up, or you’re planning a marquee wedding, I’ll also aim to pop by for an hour or so. It’s a chance to sense-check that everything is on track and to be a steady pair of hands if any last-minute questions, nerves, or practical decisions crop up.

Our wedding weekend would simply not have been possible without Sophie. From the very first planning sessions through to the post event packdown, she was absolutely incredible. Sophie was so much more than a wedding coordinator. She became the person who knew everything - every supplier, every timing, every tiny detail, every contingency and every job that needed doing. And all throughout she was a genuine pleasure to have around!
Initially we started off just planning to have Sophie help us with the Wedding Day- but her input into the planning process made us realise that we needed her help for the whole Friday-to-Sunday weekend. We are so happy that we did.
Planning an at home marquee wedding was a daunting task, and through pre-wedding planning sessions she helped us turn a list of ideas into an actual workable plan. How we were going to coordinate people and suppliers into an actual party, rather than just a timeline. She asked all the right questions that we hadn’t even considered like - who presses play on the music? Is there a fire extinguisher incase of an emergency? Who do people call when they get lost finding the venue?
On the weekend itself, Sophie coordinated an enormous number of moving parts. She managed a Friday evening welcome drinks and dinner as well as on the day managing suppliers and their arrivals, the marquee and catering setup, flowers and decorations, the church arrangements, rings, bridal preparations, transport, photography timings, guest movement, the reception setup, speeches, food and drinks, the cake, music, the bar, photos, all while getting drenched in torrential rain! Sophie even turned up on Sunday to help with the post event packdown when it was the last thing we all wanted to do!
What really stood out was how calm and completely on top of everything she was. There were constantly things happening behind the scenes that we had no idea about. We were blissfully unaware of most of it, because Sophie was dealing with it all before we even noticed.
Most importantly, she allowed us and our parents who were hosting to actually be guests at our own wedding. We didn’t spend the day checking timings, chasing suppliers, worrying about setup or wondering what was supposed to happen next. We could concentrate on each other, our families and our friends- exactly what you want on your wedding day.
Sophie was organised, proactive, calm, thoughtful, incredibly hard-working and an absolute pleasure to have alongside us throughout the planning and the weekend itself.
If you’re considering having Sophie coordinate your wedding, do it! You won’t regret it.

I really don’t think anything I write can truly do justice to how valuable Sophie was at our wedding. We hired her as an on-the-day co-ordinator after booking a venue only space and thank goodness we did! Having planned a completely DIY wedding with no staff, we soon realised that we needed her to allow us to enjoy our wedding without stressing about the details during the day. We used the same room for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception so it would have been a big task to do these transitions without her. On the day, you never would have known that the venue didn’t have a large team of staff because she was utterly fantastic and carried out transitions seamlessly, paying attention to every detail and making the venue look beautiful. My friends and family, as well as the vendors, were highly complimentary of her and couldn’t believe how she made the day go by without a hitch. It truly was a perfect day and it was all thanks to her. Sophie isn’t just professional, she is warm and bubbly, making everyone feel completely comfortable around her. I didn’t feel anxious at all about passing on all responsibility to her because she is so organised and calm.
